The "Char de Bataille" B1 was the main tank used by the French Army during World War II. The original project was conceived in the mid-1920s (many technical solutions such as the large open chains are typical of this period), but it wasn't until the mid-1930s that it began to be delivered to the units. Robust and solid, it has been improved in its "to" version to increase its performance and operational performance. It was equipped with a 47mm gun in a turret and a 75mm howitzer mounted in a casemate on the front of the tank.
